Welcome To AIDS Alert International's corporate presence (narrowband)

“AIDS Alert’s mission is to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS through proactive actions such as community based research, publications, workshops, conferences and support programmes. We also act as a global advocate on HIV/AIDS and related issues”

upcoming event

AIDS Alert International is planning its official launch in 2004. The event will be held at the Commonwealth Institute in London. This will be an early evening event lasting a couple of hours.

The objective of the event is to;

  • Highlight the causes and effects of HIV/AIDS and particularly the plight of those affected and infected by this pandemic.
  • Publicise and promote the pioneering work of AIDS Alert in dealing with the epidemic since its inception about a year ago.
  • Create a networking environment with public figures and decision makers

The event will include brief presentations from prominent people working in the field of HIV/AIDS and will comprise colour slides of current and recent AIDS Alert's projects in Africa and the UK.

The event will conclude with a complimentary finger buffet and refreshments.

Invitees will include:

  • Dignitaries from African embassies/consulates in the UK
  • The Department for International Development
  • The British Council
  • Ministers
  • The Media
  • Representatives from funding institutions
  • Partner NGOs both in the UK and Africa
  • HIV/AIDS practitioners

This will be a great opportunity to informally network and explore ground breaking ventures in the fight against the spread of HIV and AIDS particularly in Sub Saharan Africa.

Come and support the work of AIDS Alert International.

Do you think AAI should extend this narrowband design to the broadband site ?
No, I'd prefer pure graphical content for the broadband site
Yes, I like the idea of the site design being uniform to all AAI media.
